WIN is devoted to the philanthropic process referred to as “effective giving”. This discipline concentrates on creating systematic change in hopes of presenting opportunities to those individuals looking for a chance to transform their lives and become empowered. Creating opportunities to empower people involves focusing on issues of work life balance, education, training, career placement and child care. When successfully orchestrated, the result is creating a larger pool of successful women in the industry and the world.

In order to master successful giving, Women in the Industry will look to Cathy Backus, Lisa Jackson and Denise Ehrich to partner with great people and outstanding organizations within the tourism industry. Philanthropic plans at WIN will go through four stages:

Clarity	Being clear about selecting projects, time commitment and financial investment.
Consideration	Creating a strategic plan in regards to project selection.
Commitment	Utilizing available resources at every level to maximize results.
Consequence	Effectively evaluating impact of WIN philanthropic programs.
