Women in the Industry (WIN) is a non-profit organization supporting women in their effort to
be the best they can be as well as attracting and cultivating
women leaders of tomorrow in the vacation industry. The
goals of WIN include:
- Providing a forum for women in the vacation industry
to unite and leverage best practices
- Providing networking and business training through
social and educational events
- Ongoing community and philanthropic activities
- Developing a membership base that is reflective
of women across diverse businesses throughout the
vacation industry
- Promoting and recognizing women’s achievements
in the vacation industry
- Facilitating research in the vacation industry
- Providing scholarship opportunities for women to
attain related industry certifications and attend
training programs to advance their career path.
- Providing life/ work/ balance support to women
in the vacation industry.
WIN is looking for more than a few good WINners to
support and fuel the organization. Since the launch
at the Spring 2008 ARDA Convention , Corporate Friends,
Patrons, Benefactors and Individual Members, have enthusiastically
joined the organization.
The quality of our members is no less than amazing.
Our members continuously reinforce the need and value
for the organization of Women in the Industry. As members,
we consider it an honor to work with educational institutions,
entrepreneurs, small, mid-sized and some of the most
powerful companies in the tourism industry.
We network with great minds that thrive upon the most
innovative products and services available to travelers
worldwide. Our goal is to provide education and research
to women in an industry who may not have the financial
opportunity to acquire it. WIN is creating history as
a women's organization that gives to charity in a way
that transforms society.
